Some early sketches and trials to figure out what would best suit the hotel client I wanted to target with this typeface.
The goal was a luxurious typeface with a modern feel that would fit well in the world of accommodations and comfort.
The reason I chose the hospitality industry as my first client was that my first point of contact with typography was designing headlines for flyers in the style of the logo of the hotel I was working for. At that time, I took my first steps in type design without knowing it.
