möbius MR-Magazin

Bachelor Thesis

For this final project, I wanted to explore the potential of a mixed reality magazine by combining it with the topics of 3D typography and type in space.

About the Project

In terms of content, the magazine covers a variety of topics related to design and the technical requirements for type in three-dimensional space. The use of augmented reality, made possible by the Artivive app, supports a deeper visual understanding and raises the question: Do we need a second dimension in classic print?

The digital three-dimensional space offers endless possibilities for artists, designers, programmers, and innovative thinkers. My further experiments and reflections led me, for example, to explore 3D letter art, where I learned the differences between free art and a functional 3D typeface. This freedom can become a challenge for design.
